As I entered the Ramada By Wyndham Oakland Downtown City Center, I was greeted by a serene ambience that promised a peaceful stay. the room, though clean and well-equipped with modern amenities, was marred by noise and vibrations, hindering relaxation. the staff, while attentive, seemed puzzled by the disturbances, attributing it to the dryers downstairs. My suspicions lingered, awaiting confirmation over time. Nevertheless, the convenient proximity to the BART station was a saving grace. For a solo traveler seeking solace, the hotel's location near the BART station offered ease of exploration, making it an ideal base for my Oakland Marathon adventures. With ample dining options within walking distance and a plethora of vegan choices, the hotel catered to various culinary preferences. Despite some setbacks, the quiet seventh floor provided a peaceful haven, shielding me from the hustle and bustle of July 4th celebrations. the nearby attractions, including the Oakland Museum of California and the historic USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum, offered opportunities for cultural immersion and exploration. However, the inconsistency in service and unresolved noise issue left a bittersweet impression on what could have been a truly serene experience.
